Description

The 2026 KTM SX-E 5 is an electric youth motocross bike powered by a 48 V brushless electric motor with a peak output of about 5 kW (~6.8 hp) and torque around 13.8 Nm, designed as a zero-emission alternative to small petrol bikes. It delivers smooth, instant power with no clutch or gearbox, making it ideal for young riders learning throttle control and motocross basics. The bike features a lightweight Chromoly steel frame that can “grow” with the rider thanks to adjustable seat height. Premium WP XACT suspension includes a fully adjustable 35 mm upside-down air fork with about 205 mm travel and an adjustable WP rear shock with around 193 mm travel for confident handling on dirt tracks. Front and rear hydraulic disc brakes provide dependable stopping power, while 12? front and 10? rear wheels with high-grip Maxxis MX-ST tires enhance traction on various off-road surfaces. A multifunction display lets riders choose from multiple ride modes suited to different skill levels, and a robust lithium-ion battery (~907 Wh) offers up to around 2 hours of gentle riding or ~30 minutes of intense race-pace fun per charge.
