Description

The 2021 Yamaha YZ250F is powered by a 249 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder 4-stroke DOHC engine with 44 mm Mikuni electronic fuel injection, electric start, 5-speed transmission, wet multi-plate clutch, and chain final drive delivering strong low-to-mid-range torque and class-leading motocross performance. The chassis features a lightweight aluminum bilateral beam frame designed for excellent cornering stability and rider feedback. Suspension includes fully adjustable 48 mm KYB Speed Sensitive System (SSS) upside-down front forks providing 310 mm travel and a fully adjustable KYB rear monoshock delivering 317 mm travel for exceptional track control and comfort. Braking is handled by a 270 mm front hydraulic wave disc and 240 mm rear hydraulic wave disc for powerful stopping performance. The motorcycle rides on 21-inch front and 19-inch rear wheels with motocross tires.
